Self Esteem Affirmations

Constructive affirmations are helpful and valuable tools for improving self esteem because these statements are positive, tangible energies that, by redirecting our thoughts, can alter our emotions.

Improving self esteem is an effective and lifelong process. Self-affirmation provides a great way to boost our self-esteem levels. Everybody can benefit from participating in self esteem affirmations very day.

Self esteem affirmations are designed to transform your inner thinking about yourself. To get the most out of the day ahead of you, say your affirmation so the day is started off with a positive rather than a negative. It is with this positive affirmation that sets your day in place and you will see an increase in your energy level. Let your mind have only positive thoughts. Remember to utilize self esteem affirmations everyday, and you can learn to keep a more positive attitude.

The most important point in practicing self esteem affirmations is to begin to believe in yourself by sensing and speaking self esteem affirmations each day without exception. Remember to phrase your self esteem affirmations in the present-day and include yourself.

Self esteem affirmations need to be repetitive to allow your mind to acknowledge your thoughts and beliefs. Consider your affirmations and make changes to them on a daily basis and as you do you will find your energy levels will rise as will your self confidence and self esteem.

The best affirmations are those that you make for yourself. For instance if you are financially stable your affirmation will not be about saving money. So the best affirmation is the one appropriate to you. For instance, I have difficulty speaking in a public place then my affirmation will be, I can speak in an open place and I will be secure.

Other affirmations can be:

I do love myself, I am a good person, I do approve of myself, I do accept myself for who I am, I am attractive, I am a friendly person, I do look good when I wear nice clothes, I am confident I can complete my tasks, I am a good mother/father/friend, I am a happy person, I am a positive person, I will do this.

The common thread here is that the affirmation is about now, not the past such as "I was a good runner" or in the future, "I will be rich". Imagine in a noisy situation where everything is hectic and you become a little confused or nervous, the affirmation is "I am safe, I am all right, I am secure".

Consider your lifestyle, your thoughts, your failings in life and then make your affirmations to fit your own circumstances. As you pass each milestone then simply choose your next affirmation and so on.

How to use an affirmation can be in numerous ways. One is standing in front of a mirror and look at yourself. Speak your affirmation with confidence and belief at your reflection. Believe in your affirmation and trust your affirmation.

The other technique is to say your affirmation over in your thoughts trusting your thoughts and believe in your affirmation.

By practicing these simple affirmations on a regular basis you will find vast improvements that are reflected in your self esteem. before long your affirmations will become your friend and get you through any issue that pops up in your life. Remember it is always nice to have a friend, so make friends with your affirmations NOW.
